DEEP WATER QUAY ( DWQ )

DWQ is located in the inner part of the Valletta Grand Harbour and is mainly targeted for the handling of RoRo and other Conventional type cargo. On the quay there are also three transit sheds which provide ample storage space in an open floor area.

 Main characteristics of   the quay are as follows:

• Quay Length   488 mtrs ( Main quay face ) / 9.50 mtrs
•                         75 mtrs  ( No 5 Wharf     ) / 7.9   mtrs
•  Shed 1             1800m² ( 30m x 60m )
• Shed 2/3          5400m²  ( 30m x 180m )
