Valletta Gateway Terminals is aware that there may be vessels, privately owned, which occasionally visit Malta and require a special berthing place, this due to their size and special requirements which would not be easily available in Malta.
In order to cater for such requirements, VGT has set-up a special berthing service aimed at vessels which are not carrying cargo *, but which require a berthing space. The quays are well equipped to handle all sorts of vessels such as fishing boats, super yachts, cruise liners, submarines, war vessels, tug-boats, seismic vessels and any other marine vessel which may want to berth.
* Kindly note that cargo vessels that stay alongside after completion of operations will be subject to S.A.F (Security and Administration Fee) where applicable.
